Account Executive / Sales VP (Ireland, Nordics, and UK)
Reporting to: SVP Global Sales & Services
Location: Negotiable with regular travel to customer sites
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
The Account Executive / Sales VP for Ireland, Nordics, and UK will have overall sales accountability within their assigned accounts and/or territory. As such, this individual is the senior leader of the AEPONA Account Team and is responsible for developing and executing account strategies while ensuring achievement of established Corporate targets for Bookings, Revenue, and Customer Satisfaction. This role reports directly to Michael Mayfield, SVP – Global Sales & Services.

Responsibilities
- Develop account strategies, goals, objectives, and action plans for their assigned account(s) and/or territories.
- Manage sales & client relationship activities while developing trusted advisor status with senior executives and sponsors within target accounts.
- Remain knowledgeable regarding competitive and industry trends; utilizes this knowledge to aggressively develop & close account opportunities.
- Articulate and position the full spectrum of Aepona products, solutions, and services to key decision makers.
- Develop and gain approval for proposals and opportunity P&L.
- Conduct regular account reviews to ensure account team alignment & Corporate support for client initiatives.
- Responsible for weekly sales forecasting and periodic reviews of sales performance.
- Develop collaborative relationships with other departments to ensure support for their client(s) and their account team.
Skills Specification
- Knowledge: Expert in software technology sales with an emphasis on the Telecom industry (Broadband, Mobile, and FMC). Proven knowledge of best practices for sales performance management (e.g. Miller Heiman, etc.).
- Job Complexity: Will work on significant and unique issues. Individual will be expected to exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Executive Interaction: Effective at creating and presenting to senior level audiences. Clearly communicates issues in business language.
- Supervision: Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on assignments. Builds relationships with staff to effectively seek counsel and execute program deliverables.
- Experience: 15 years of proven sales results with 5 years Telecom industry expertise.
